American hockey player JC Campagna transferred from HC Prešov to the German team EHC Freiburg. He will play in the second highest competition (DEL2). The German club announced the new acquisition on the official website.
“In Campagno, we found a player who has a very good wrist shot and is dangerous for the opposing team. I will also help our attack with my physical parameters.” said sports director Peter Salmik.
Twenty-nine-year-old Campagna arrived in Prešov in early December. He played 17 games and scored 12 points (6+6). “I am happy that I will be working in Freiburg until the end of the season. I have only heard good things about the whole organization and I am looking forward to becoming a part of it. Together with the team, I want to try to work my way up to sixth place in the table and then attack fully in the play – off,” Campagna stated.
