Presidential elections 2024. Order of presidential candidates on the first ballot. Romans have a choice of 14 names

Central Electoral Office find, Wednesday, a definitive stay of 14 applications for the presidential elections10 candidates recommended by parties and four independents. The BEC announced that the order of candidates’ entries on the ballot was determined by drawing lots.

• 2. George Simion – Federation for the Romanian Union
• 3. Marcel Ciolacu – Social Democratic Party
• 4. Nicolae Ciucă – National Liberal Party
• 5. Hunor Kelemen – Hungarian Democratic Unionist from Romania
• 6. Mircea Geoană – independent candidate
• 7. Ana Birchall – independent candidate
• 8. Alexandra Beatrice Bertalan-Păcuraru – Alternative for National Secret
• 9. Sebastian-Constantin Popescu – New Party of Romania
• 10. Ludovic Orban – Force of the Right
• 11. Călin Georgescu – independent candidate
• 12. Cristian Diaconescu – independent candidate
• 13. Cristian-Vasile Terheș – Romanian National Conservative Party
• 14. Silviu Predoiu – National Action League Party

The original news. 10 candidates will be proposed by the parties for the post of president of Romania and confirmed by the BEC: Marcel Ciolacu – PSD, Nicolae Ciucă – PNL, Elena Lasconi – USR, George Simion – AUR, Kelemen Hunor – UDMR, Ludovic Orban – Forța Dreptei, Cristian Terheș – Romanian National Conservative Party, Silviu Predoiu – National Action League Party, Sebastian-Constantin Popescu – New Party of Romania and Alexandra Beatrice Bertalan-Păcuraru from the Alternative Party for National Secret.

There will be four independent candidates in these presidential elections: Mircea Geoană, Ana Birchall, Călin Georgescu and Cristian Diaconescu.

The Central Electoral Bureau decided, at the meeting on Sunday afternoon, to reject the registration of several applications submitted in the last 48 hours, including the second one sent by Diana Iovanovici-Şoşoacă a- in.
