Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo promises free internet services if elected in 2024

Semarang

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo promised that if he becomes President in 2024 he will provide free internet services. Ganjar then joked that the free internet program was better than a free lunch.

This was conveyed by Ganjar at the launch of the GratisIN program at Borsumy Heritage, Semarang, Central Java, Monday (1/1/2024). Initially, Ganjar asked the participants who attended whether they wanted free lunch or free internet.

“I’ll give you a choice: free lunch or free internet?” Ganjar asked.

“Free internet,” the participant answered.

Ganjar said he also asked the same thing while campaigning in Boyolali, Central Java. At that time, said Ganjar, the participants who attended also preferred free schools.

“Yesterday I asked in Boyolali and it turns out they prefer free internet. Because lunch is enough. I’ve had lunch, I can see,” he said.

According to him, free internet will further help young people’s creativity. Apart from that, he said, it can also help students study online.

“So that’s when we had the thought that we had a dream that young people’s creativity would actually be facilitated and could be done much more quickly with free internet. Do you agree?” he said.

“Agree,” answered the participant.

“So the complaint from the mother who felt that her child needed a quota, we will try later in our schools to provide free internet so they can access it,” continued Reward.

According to him, if students can more easily access the internet, the learning process will be better. So, he said, this will also improve the quality of human resources.

“Friends of this country can progress if we are able to jump. So if we can make a jump then 2045 is a true story, not a lie because we will encourage the spirit of change to make high jumps,” he said.
