Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo Calls for Peace Amidst Mass Clashes in Bitung City

Presidential candidate (capres) serial number 3 Ganjar Pranowo also commented on the clash between the masses defending Palestine and mass organizations in Bitung City, North Sulawesi (Sulut). Ganjar admitted that he was concerned and hoped that everyone could make peace.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when attending the Healthy Struggle Walk initiated by Genzi South Sulawesi volunteers in car free day Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Makassar, Sunday (26/11/2023). Ganjar received a report about this clash.

“We received another report. There was an incident (in Bitung, Manado, North Sulawesi) which was unpleasant between community groups because they supported and defended each other,” said Ganjar as reported by detikSulsel.

The former Governor of Central Java said that the Indonesian people must remain united despite their differences in ethnicity and religion. Ganjar also hopes that there will soon be a ceasefire between the Palestinian and Israeli wars.

“We can defend the Palestinian state which is not doing well. There is war in Europe. Let’s make things peaceful, and the Indonesian people, in these concerns, we must be united. No fighting, no clashing “We pray that everyone is healthy,” said Ganjar.

Ganjar then sent off the Struggle Healthy Walk participants on the route Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan H Bau, Arief Rate then returned to Sudirman. He admitted that he was amazed by the enthusiasm of the participants who attended.
