Fernando Villavicencio, candidate for the presidency of Ecuador, was assassinated this Wednesday afternoon after his campaign event in Quito.
Villavicencio, an assembly member and candidate for the Construye movement, was shot several times in the head as he was leaving a rally at the Anderson College Coliseum, in the north of the Ecuadorian capital.
