Presidente Arce delivers Quelcata vehicular bridge, in Oruro

Oruro, 8 Feb 2022 (ATB Digital).- With an investment of more than Bs 1 million, the president, Luis Arce Catacora, delivered on Tuesday afternoon the Quelcata vehicular bridge, in the municipality of Eucaliptus, Oruro.

On the occasion, he said that the vehicle infrastructure will allow the transfer of agricultural products to other regions of the department for marketing.

“The productive task is a priority of the national Government, we want to increase agricultural production and for that we understand perfectly that a fundamental factor, for our brothers and sisters in the countryside to produce more, is irrigation, for that we need dams, cutbacks to retain water and make irrigation adductions. We pledge our support to increase productivity, ” said the head of State.

He stressed that there are many needs, so efforts are made to reach the different regions of the country with works and support.

“We know that there are many needs, and you have to understand that when we came to the government there were no resources, they took everything; but, we are not left behind and we are beginning to recover little by little. We seek to increase production, we have several programs for this purpose, potato, quinoa, vegetables, among others to encourage production in the field and improve the income of families,” said Arce Catacora.

He stressed that irrigation, fertilization and technification of agriculture will contribute to improving productivity and agricultural performance.

“Our commitment is to continue working for development, for growth, for improving the income of families, for improving the quality of life for Living Well. We have again reduced poverty and returned to our policy of income redistribution. We want to increase the income of Bolivian families, especially the most humble, that is our goal and we are gradually achieving it,” said the President.
