President Zelensky’s Blitz Visit to Japan: Strengthening International Support for Ukraine’s Fight Against Russia

“Peace will be closer today,” tweeted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter shortly after arriving in Hiroshima, Japan on the 20th.

Immediately after arriving, President Zelensky met with leaders of major countries without a separate break schedule.

Local media reported that President Zelensky would attend a session dealing with the situation in Ukraine on the 21st, the last day of the G7 summit.
