Details: It is clarified that the president landed at Shannon Airport in the west of Ireland.
It is not yet known how long the head of state will stay in the country, nor his future plans.
At the airport building, Zelensky held an unscheduled meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereign Council of the Republic of Sudan, Abdel Fattah al-Burgan.
He thanked Sudan for its consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Literally: “The interlocutors discussed common security challenges, in particular the activities of illegal armed groups financed by Russia.
Zelensky invited al-Burgan to support the Grain From Ukraine humanitarian initiative, which aims to supply food to the most vulnerable countries in Africa, and also to join the Global Peace Summit.”
