President Zelensky Signs Historic Security Cooperation Agreement with Germany during Visit to Berlin

During his visit to Berlin, President Vladimir Zelensky met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Zelensky spoke about this in his Telegram channel and Twitter (X), writes “European Truth”.

According to the president, they discussed the situation at the front and the current defense needs of Ukraine.

“The agreement on security cooperation between Ukraine and Germany, signed today in Berlin, is an important step in strengthening the defense capability of our state,” the president emphasized.

He thanked Germany and its people for their significant support for Ukraine.

On February 16, during Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to Germany, it was a bilateral agreement was signed on cooperation in the field of security, in continuation of the G7 declaration on “security guarantees” for Ukraine.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called it a historic step signing of this agreement.

In the President’s Office published the text of the agreement on cooperation with Germany in the field of security.
