On August 10, Ukrayinska Pravda, citing interlocutors in power, reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky was looking for a replacement for Oleksiy Reznikov as defense minister. At least two candidates are being considered. On August 19, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov, commenting on rumors that the president was looking for a replacement for him at the post of the defense department, said that this position was “temporary history” for him, and he himself could quit.
