A journalist from the publication Rai1 asked Zelensky about the rumors surrounding the dismissal of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. The president replied that he was thinking about changing various leaders in the state, but did not specify whether this concerned Zaluzhny.
“Of course, a reboot, a new beginning is needed. When we talk about this, I mean the replacement of a number of government leaders, and not just in one sector, for example, the military,” the President of Ukraine noted.
According to him, this is a question for the entire leadership group managing the country’s large and complex machine.
“If we want to win, we must all move in the same direction. We cannot despair or give up. We must have the right, positive energy, despite the negative moods that may overwhelm us at certain moments,” the head of state added.
Zelensky also said that negativity should be left at home. According to him, it is necessary to think about those who were forced to flee abroad, about those fighting in the trenches, about those who work 24 hours a day in three shifts in factories producing ammunition.
“We must have suitable energy for them. We cannot allow abdication. Therefore, when I talk about a reset, about a replacement, I mean something serious that concerns not one person, but the leadership of the country,” the President of Ukraine noted .
