President Yoon Seok-yeol made a surprise visit to Ukraine on the 15th after completing his visit to Poland.
President Yoon’s visit to Ukraine was carried out without prior notice and in utmost secrecy. In the past, there have been cases (Roh Moo-hyun, Park Chung-hee) who visited the dispatched sites of our military as commander-in-chief, but this is the first time that they have visited a battlefield other than our dispatched troops as a responsible member of the international community at the level of solidarity. During his visit to Ukraine, President Yoon first toured the Bucha city massacre site near the capital Kiiu and the city of Irpin, where missile attacks were concentrated on civilian residential areas.
