Opinion poll results showed that President Yoon Seok-yeol’s approval rating fell slightly compared to last week and recorded in the mid-30% range.
Gallup Korea conducted a survey of 1,020 people aged 18 or older nationwide for three days from the 30th of last month.
The negative evaluation was 57%, up 2%p from last week.
Diplomacy was ranked first with 40% of the reasons for positive job performance, followed by labor union response, determination and drive, perseverance, and improved relations with Japan.
Diplomacy was the highest at 29% as the reason for denial, followed by economy and public livelihood, arbitrary one-sidedness, Japan relations and Fukushima discharge of contaminated water.
The political party’s approval rating fell 1%p from last week to 35% of the people’s strength, and the Democratic Party of Korea rose 1%p to 32%.
Gallup explained that the equal structure continues after the People’s Power National Convention, and that the gap or trend between the two parties is within the statistical error range that cannot be distinguished.
