Trump wore a face mask when he left the hospital Monday night and walked on his own to a car that took him to the presidential helicopter. The president also emerged from the helicopter at the White House wearing a face mask. He waved, raised his thumb, and walked up the stairs to the White House himself. At the doors of the White House, he took off his face mask and saluted the flag of the United States.
The president will receive a fifth dose of the antiviral drug remdesivir in the White House on Tuesday, his doctors announced Monday. Trump would not have had a fever for over 72 hours. He was given oxygen twice.
‘Don’t Fear It’
The president had been in the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, just outside Washington, since Friday. Trump had previously stated that he was feeling really good. He reported to his followers on Twitter that he was not afraid of the corona virus. “Don’t let it control you. Don’t be afraid of it, ”Trump said, after taking off his face mask on arrival at the White House. “I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
“We are going back to work. We’re going to beat it. We have the best medical equipment and the best medicines. And the vaccines are coming any time. ”
Trump has not fully recovered but enough to be allowed to go home, according to his personal physician Sean Conley. The team is cautiously optimistic and says it remains cautious.

Remdesivir
US President Trump’s corona treatment is a bit of uncharted territory. Conley emphasizes that.
Trump has had some of the therapies quite early on, Conley said. For example, he was injected with the antiviral agent remdesivir, which is being tested as an agent against the corona virus. He had already been given three doses. The fourth was before his departure from the hospital and he will receive the last dose in the White House on Tuesday evening.
