President Gustavo Petro’s approval is at 26%, according to an Invamer survey. In total, 1,200 surveys were carried out in different cities of the country.

The latest Invamer survey was released that seeks to measure the approval of President Gustavo Petro and the perception that Colombians have about some institutions, officials and issues of national interest. In total, 1,200 surveys were carried out in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga.
To the question: “In general, do you approve or disapprove of the way Gustavo Petro is carrying out his work as President of Colombia?” 66% of those surveyed responded that they disapprove of the management, the highest figure recorded in this survey since Gustavo Petro became President, but, in addition, disapproval increased six points compared to the last measurement that was made in October.
On the other hand, the approval of President Gustavo Petro fell, from 32 points in October to 26 in the month of December, also being the lowest approval since the Government began, on August 7, 2022.
For its part, the favorable image of Vice President Francia Márquez fell six points since October and now stands at 24%, while her negative image went from 49% to 56%.
