President of Uzbekistan Merziyoyev took the oath for the second time

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Merziyoyev entered the second presidential term. Today, on November 6, his inauguration took place, at which he took the oath in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The ceremony in Tashkent was attended by members of the Senate and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (parliament), heads of state and public organizations, representatives of the diplomatic corps, domestic and foreign media.

As a result of voting on October 24, Shavkat Merziyoyev was elected to the post of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gaining 80.12% of the vote.
