President of the Supreme Political Council issues a decree entrusting Ahmed Al-Rahawi with the formation of a government of change and construction

SANA’A, 10th of June 2024 (Saba) – The decree of the President of the Supreme Political Council No. (11) of 1446 AD was issued, entrusting Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser Al-Rahwi with the formation of a government of change and construction, the text of which is as follows:
After reviewing the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen.
And the political agreement signed on July 28, 2016 between Ansar Allah and its allies and the General People’s Congress and its allies.
And the announcement of August 6, 2016 AD regarding the formation of the Supreme Political Council.
And Supreme Political Council Resolution No. (1) of 2016 defining the tasks and powers of the Council.
And Law No. (3) of 2004 on the Council of Ministers.
Given the current circumstances and the requirements of the highest national interest.

Article (1) Mr. Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser Al-Rahwi is hereby appointed to form the Government of Change and Construction.
Article (2) This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its publication and shall be published in the Official Journal.
