President of the Court of Rancagua begins visits to the courts of the jurisdiction in San Fernando – 2024-04-11 09:09:01

The president of the Court of Appeals of Rancagua, Minister Ricardo Pairicán García, began in San Fernando and Rancagua the institutional tour of the 25 courts of the jurisdiction, which aims to visualize on the ground the operation of the units and their respective needs, with in order to strengthen quality judicial service and access to justice.

The president of the appeal court together with the administrator Juan Gómez Serrano began the visits on Tuesday, April 2 at the San Fernando Oral Trial Courts, Guarantee, Family, First and Second Courts. Subsequently, on Thursday -April 4- they met with magistrates, judges and officials from the Family, Labor Law, First and Second Civil Courts of Rancagua.

“During these visits we spoke with the magistrates, secretaries, administrators and officials of each of these courts. We learned from the first source of their needs and requirements and we reviewed compliance with those observations made by the previous visiting ministers, of which we took due note and will report to the Plenary Session,” said the president of the Court of Rancagua, Ricardo Pairicán.

The presiding judge of the Family Court of San Fernando, Natasha García Rojas, noted that “it has been a pleasure to receive the president of the appeal court and it has been a very fruitful meeting, given that he has always marked his style as a minister based on leadership. human and has been concerned about each of the people who perform their duties in this court. The problems and needs that affect us were identified, such as workload.”

“These visits by the ministers and the president of the appeal court are very valuable, because they can learn directly what the needs are, how we are working and functioning in the court. This expeditious and close communication is very relevant because it allows us to state precisely how we are, what we need and what we expect in the short, medium and long term,” said Carlos Pérez Díaz, presiding judge of the Oral Criminal Trial Court of San Fernando.

In that sense, the presiding magistrate of the Rancagua Labor Court, Alonso Fredes Hernández, indicated that it was a “profitable instance, we were able to raise the needs that we had as a court and the president was able to learn about the activity carried out by the officials in the different units.”

The remaining route through the courts of Rancagua, Graneros, Rengo, Peumo, Peralillo, Litueche, Pichilemu, Peumo, San Vicente, Santa Cruz will extend until April 25 and also includes the Administrative Corporation of the Rancagua zonal Judiciary, the Integrated Center of Judicial Notifications, the Specialized Settlements Unit and the Center for Observation and Control of Compliance with Protective Measures.
