President of PZU Ukraine dismissed. Drug smuggling in the background

Radio Zet was the first to report the matter. According to reports, the president of PZU Ukraina, Maciej Szyszko, was dismissed due to the discovery of drugs in his car.

On October 5, at the checkpoint in Ustyluh, the Ukrainian border guards allegedly prevented an attempt to bring over 30 grams of drugs into the country. According to her, a service dog of the Border Guard officers reacted to the foreigner’s car. During a thorough inspection, inspectors found three bags of drug-like substances under the seat. – Express analysis confirmed that one of the parcels contained amphetamine and the other two contained cannabis – said the Ukrainian Border Guard.

She added that due to the detection of the elements of a crime specified in Art. 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine notified the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

The dismissal of the president of PZU Ukraine has already been confirmed by the PZU headquarters. – The dismissal is caused by the loss of trust in the mentioned manager – explained Zbigniew Baranowski, director of media relations at PZU, in response to Radio Zet’s questions.
