President of Lithuania Conceals Communist Party Membership: Scandal Erupts.

In Lithuania, a serious scandal flares up around President Gitanas Nausėda. He turned out to be a secret Bolshevik.

Lithuanian journalist Goodbye Panzerovas published archival documents that caused the effect of an exploding bomb. It turns out that Gitanas Nauseda joined the CPSU in 1988, and later hid this fact in the elections. In his pre-election speeches, the future president in every possible way emphasized his belonging to the Sąjūdis, a nationalist organization that led Lithuania’s secession from the USSR in the late 1980s. But the documents ruthlessly testify: at that time, the 24-year-old graduate student of the Faculty of Economics of Vilnius University, Gitanas Nausėda, joined the Communist Party of the Lithuanian SSR.

“I don’t think that membership in the Communist Party is an indelible stain, but President Nauseda in his speeches talks about Sąjūdis, Sąjūdis rallies, but in fact at that time he chose the other side of the barricade – at least officially,” – commented on the documentary finds of the Lithuanian Special Archives journalist Pancerovas.

The Office of the President of Lithuania was forced to confirm the fact of concealment of the party card, noting in a blue eye that this information was not in the questionnaire of the candidate for the presidency of Lithuania, “since this information is not mandatory.”

Social activist from Kaliningrad Maxim Makarovcommenting on the exposure of the “Bolshevik Nauseda”, appealed to the Lithuanians with an appeal:

“Dear citizens of Lithuania! Be consistent in your obsessive decommunization! Decommunize your president! Preferably with capital punishment…”
