President of FC Porto had filed a lawsuit in court due to statements made by the club’s presidential candidate
Pinto da Costa withdrew the complaint he had filed against Nuno Lobo, a candidate who ran against the current president in the 2020 election and who has already announced that he will vote again in 2024.
The leader of the dragons had taken legal action against Nuno Lobo, due to a phrase used by the businessman in an interview, which Pinto da Costa considered offensive (“Unlike Pinto da Costa, I am a man of integrity”).
The first session of the trial took place on October 18th, at the Bolhão Court, in Porto.
It is worth remembering that Nuno Lobo abstained from voting on the Porto SAD Report and Accounts for the 2022/23 financial year, which resulted in a loss of 47.6 million euros. By Record
