When talking about interest in the striker, the new president of Corinthians, Augusto Mello, said he intended to meet with red-black leaders. “I spoke to (Rodolfo) Landim (president) and (Marcos) Braz (deputy for football) if there is a possibility of talking to the athlete. Yes, I am interested and I will speak when authorized,” he told ESPN.
The red-denied football director stated that there was no conversation with Corinthians about a transfer for Gabriel Barbosa, nor is there any interest in this type of negotiation.
