“China is actively promoting peace talks, which include both Russia and Ukraine. Recently, China and Brazil agreed to a six-point proposal outlining key principles for de-escalation, including preventing the expansion of the battlefield, avoiding escalation of the conflict and refraining from provocations from either side. Specifically, the proposal proposes convening an international peace conference at a time mutually acceptable to Russia and Ukraine, ensuring equal participation and fair consideration of all peace proposals.”
Does Beijing intend to take an active role in achieving peace in the Middle East?
“China is trying to promote peace and stability in the Middle East. After the start of the conflict in Gaza, he proposed high-level international conferences to deal with the crisis. What is Beijing’s position on the creation of a new international framework for the settlement of investment disputes? Does Beijing agree to the creation of a new Multilateral Investment Court as proposed by the EU?
“A new Multilateral Investment Court could be established, with China participating by invitation. Given that Asia accounts for 60% of world trade, the court could benefit from having an annex in Asia.”
