President Nicolás Maduro, during the mobilization of the Venezuelan people in support of the Bolivarian Revolution, called for respect for the country’s Constitution and recognition of Venezuelan laws and institutions.

“In the face of conspiracies, the Constitution,” said Maduro, who called for respect for the law. “Venezuela has laws and institutions, and it has to be sovereign without interference from any country in the world,” he said.

The president stated that the way to resolve what has been created is the Constitution, the laws, the Supreme Court of Justice. “We are candidates subject to the law,” he stressed, indicating that Edmundo González did not appear before the court, while he will face serious legal consequences for disregarding the law.

The head of state also said that the Constitution must be used to be able to use the mechanisms that the Magna Carta has at its disposal. “I filed a constitutional appeal,” he said, recognizing the “solid institutionality” of the country.

Meanwhile, the dignitary stressed that the extreme right had carried out an attack on the electoral system never seen before. When referring to the fact that they tried to cut off electricity in Venezuela last Sunday to affect the elections, he also indicated that they had hired groups of a new generation of criminals. 80 percent of the almost 2,000 were trained in Chile, Texas and Peru, in the last eleven months.

“We started to receive a cyber attack” and “they wanted to impose a state of terror,” said the president, while insisting that the groups were paid and hired to attack hospitals, schools, and poor people and burn their cars.

He also warned about the threat to popular leaders, while again criticizing Elon Musk and his complicity in cyber attacks.
