“No way, friends and friends: I tested positive for COVID-19. It is not serious. My heart is 100 and since I had to suspend the tour, I am in Mexico City and from afar I celebrate Jesús Ernesto’s 16th birthday. I will save a few days. Adán Augusto López will lead the mornings. See you soon,” the president wrote on his Twitter account.
Since noon this Sunday, the Yucatan media published notes according to which the president had fainted and had suspended his tour; Immediately afterwards, the presidential spokesman, Jesús Ramírez Cuevas, denied the information, which he labeled as “false rumors”, and asserted that the president was still in Yucatán with his work tour as planned.
