President Jokowi Shares Moment of AHY-Moeldoko Handshake at Plenary Cabinet Session in Jakarta

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) uploaded the moment of the plenary cabinet session which was held at the Palace, Jakarta, today. In his upload, Jokowi inserted a unique photo of the Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) Moeldoko and the Minister of Agrarian Spatial Planning (ATR) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (ME) shake hands before the session takes place.

Seen detikcom, Monday (26/2/2024), Jokowi uploaded a number of photos on his official Instagram account. The first photo shows Jokowi giving directions to his ministers from behind the podium.

Next, there is a photo of the atmosphere in the room during the trial. Then, a photo of Moeldoko and AHY shaking hands was also seen. Both of them are seen smiling in the photo.

Near Moeldoko and AHY, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Thahjanto and Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya were seen smiling at them. Jokowi then inserted captions on the photos.

“Today, Monday, February 26 2024, at the Plenary Cabinet Session (SKP) at the State Palace, we discussed preparations for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, as well as preparing the Government Work Plan (RKP) and fiscal policy for 2025,” wrote Jokowi in his upload statement.

Jokowi asked ministers to ensure the stability of prices of basic commodities ahead of the month of Ramadan. He also asked the relevant ministries to prepare infrastructure and transportation ahead of the Eid homecoming season.

“I emphasize to all relevant Ministries/Institutions, people must be able to carry out their worship calmly and solemnly. Along with that, we must also maintain food supplies and price stability of basic commodities, as well as prepare infrastructure and modes of transportation to support the homecoming tradition,” he said.

The cabinet meeting, Jokowi explained, discussed the Government Work Plan (RKP) and fiscal policy for 2025. He also confirmed that the RKP would accommodate programs for the president elected in the 2024 presidential election.

“Our discussion regarding the RKP and fiscal policy for 2025 is focused on sustainable development and accommodating the elected president’s program,” said Jokowi.

“Fiscal policy in 2025 must also continue to support the continued economic transformation that has been carried out over the last decade, by always understanding the situation and risks of global economic uncertainty. Therefore, I also emphasize that the collaboration of all parties must ensure the effectiveness of the plans and policies that have been established,” continued he.
