Jokowi was asked this after attending the peak of the 2024 National Press Day at Ecovention, Ancol, North Jakarta, Tuesday (20/2/2024). Jokowi said the proposal was a democratic right.
“Yes, it’s a democratic right, that’s okay, right,” said Jokowi briefly.
As previously reported, Ganjar said that the right to inquiry was one of the efforts that could be taken to hold the KPU and Bawaslu accountable.
In his statement, Monday (19/2/2024), according to Ganjar, the right to inquiry, which is the DPR’s right to investigate, is one of the efforts to hold the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) accountable regarding the implementation of the 2024 presidential election. The implementation of the presidential election is suspected to be full of structured, systematic and massive fraud (TSM).
“If the DPR is not ready with the right of inquiry, I encourage the use of the DPR’s right of interpellation to criticize fraud in the 2024 presidential election,” said Ganjar in a written statement, Monday (19/2/2024).
Ganjar said allegations of fraud in the 2024 presidential election must be addressed. According to him, the supporting party can propose the right to inquiry in the DPR.
It is known that the parties supporting Ganjar in the DPR are PDIP and PPP. According to him, the proposal to submit a right of inquiry to the DPR, in this case PDIP and PPP, was submitted at the TPN meeting, on Thursday (15/2).
