jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PDI Struggle assesses fairness President Jokowi is angry to the ministers and heads of institutions because of the slow handling of Covid-19.

PDIP also saw a number of ministers and heads of state institutions who played it safe and were not progressive in controlling the effects of the infectious disease.

“Since the beginning President Jokowi has reminded the seriousness of Covid-19 in the entire life of the people. That is why every line of the cabinet should have a sense of crisis, dare to take responsibility through a breakthrough policy to help the people. Even with the issuance of the Perppu, it shows that there are things that force urgency, “PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said in a statement received on Monday (6/29).

Hasto considered ministers and heads of state institutions to act progressively amid this urgent concern.

The functions of coordination, inter-ministerial cooperation, and policy initiatives should be prioritized.

“There are some parties who tend to seek safety, and do not take the initiative, so it is natural for the president to evaluate the performance of the ministers,” Hasto said.

Regarding the threat of reshuffle expressed by the president, Hasto claimed that it was the prerogative of the head of state.

“The cabinet reshuffle is not only the prerogative of the president but also as an instrument used to evaluate the performance of ministers,” he explained.
