President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Section 2 of the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road today. Jokowi inaugurated the Cigombong-Cibadak section.
monitoring detikcom, Jokowi arrived at the Parungkuda Toll Gate, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, at around 08.40 WIB, Friday (4/8/2023). As soon as he arrived, Jokowi greeted the school children who were waiting for him at the location.
Jokowi was accompanied by PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil to the Regent of Sukabumi.
Jokowi started the inauguration by going around checking the Cigombong-Cibadak section. The inauguration was then marked by a siren suppression.
“The 11.9 km Ciawi-Sukabuni Toll Road section of Cigombong-Cibadak has been completed and is ready to operate,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi said that with this toll road, the trip from Jakarta to Sukabumi would only take 2.5 hours.
“Previously from Jakarta to Sukabumi it took 5 to 6 hours, now it only takes about 2.5 hours,” he said.
