Merdeka.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stipulates the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for Java and Bali on 3-20 July 2021. This is in line with the increasing number of cases and the addition of new variants in many countries.
“I decided to enforce July 3-20 July specifically in Java and Bali,” said Jokowi in the Presidential Secretariat’s Youtube account, Thursday (1/7).
Jokowi said the decision had been discussed with ministers and experts. Then this emergency PPKM will be carried out more strictly than what has been applied so far.
Jokowi said the derivative rules related to the policy would be explained in more detail by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
“This Emergency PPKM will include stricter restrictions than those that have been in effect so far,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi asked the entire community to remain disciplined in this arrangement. For the safety of all.
