PEKALONGAN, KOMPAS.TV – On the second day of his working visit to the Banyumas Regency area, Central Java, President Joko Widodo met residents at the Klahang Bulog Warehouse complex, Sokaraja District, Banyumas. The President distributed rice aid for the January period to 1,000 residents.
On that occasion, the president stated that rice assistance would continue from February to March 2024. Meanwhile for April, May and June, it would still continue, but waiting for the APBN calculation.
While distributing the rice aid, President Jokowi also distributed t-shirts to residents, and gave prizes in the form of bicycles to residents who could memorize Pancasila and mention the three types of fertilizer.
The residents received the assistance of 10 kilograms of rice per month enthusiastically. The reason is, amidst the price of rice which is still quite expensive, this assistance is considered to be able to ease the burden on the community. So it is hoped that this assistance will continue to roll out, and run smoothly, and on target.
