President Jokowi Widodo (Jokowi) bought Eid clothes and snacks for dozens of orphans at the Pasar Senen Atrium Plaza. The orphans felt satisfied and happy.
Rara (8), one of the orphans who went shopping, felt happy when Jokowi invited him to shop for Eid clothes and snacks. Don’t forget, he bought instant porridge for his younger brother.
“I’m happy. Buy snacks for my sister too. Buy porridge,” he said when met at the Food mart Plaza Atrium Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (9/4/2024).
Rara admitted that this was the first time she had visited a place like this mall. He admitted that he was surprised when he suddenly received an invitation to go shopping with the President. “Shocked. Just now (it was reported),” he said.

Meanwhile, Rasya (13) also admitted that he was happy to be able to shop with the number 1 person in Indonesia. He showed off 2 tote bags from shopping with Jokowi.
“It’s good. This is buying Koko clothes and making food at home,” he said.
It is known that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) bought dozens of orphans Eid clothes and snacks. Jokowi said this was done so that the orphans were happy and could celebrate Eid.
“Inviting orphans to shop, shopping for Eid clothes, and buying snacks so they can have them for Eid tomorrow,” said Jokowi to journalists, at the Atrium Plaza Senen, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (9/4/2024).
Jokowi said he had taken in 43 orphans. Jokowi said that this activity was carried out at least once a year.
“43 people, choose individually, yes once a year, let the children also celebrate Eid, have a holiday,” he said.
