President Jokowi Arrives in Nairobi, Kenya for Bilateral Meeting with President William Ruto

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Republic of Kenya. He and his entourage arrived after an 8-hour flight.

After the Garuda Indonesia GIA-1 plane came to a complete stop and the doors opened, Jokowi descended the plane’s steps. Under the stairs, the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya Mohamad Hery Saripudin and his wife and the Indonesian Defense Attaché in Pretoria Col. Mar. Burhanudin and his wife welcomed Jokowi’s arrival.

On the Kenyan side, there is Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Alfred Mutua and Minister of Mines, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Salim Mvurya as Escort of Honor.

Jokowi and his entourage walked to the State Pavillion which was still in the airport area to sign the state guest book. From the airport, Jokowi and his entourage continued their journey to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, Jokowi was greeted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Head of the Chancellery of the Indonesian Embassy in Nairobi Danny Rahdiansyah.

In Kenya, Jokowi is scheduled to meet the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto. The agenda is a bilateral meeting to enhance cooperative relations between the two countries.
