President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has arrived in the city of Solo. Landing at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Jokowi then came to pay his respects to his uncle, the late Miyono Suryosardjono, who died last night.
Jokowi, who was riding in a black car with police number B 1190 RFS, stopped in front of the funeral home, Jalan Ahmad Yani, Gondang, Manahan, Solo at around 09.56 WIB, Monday (28/2/2022).
Getting out of the car, the president was seen wearing a brown batik shirt with black pants and a cap. Before entering, Jokowi had time to greet reporters and guests.
When the president arrived, security seemed to be getting tighter. Half of the roads around the funeral home were temporarily closed.
Currently, prayers are being recited and a funeral ceremony is being held. After the reading of the celebration, the family will perform a brobosan procession and continue with the funeral prayer.
The body will then be taken to the Mundu cemetery, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar. The location is in the same complex as the graves of Jokowi’s parents.
