The issue of President Joko WIdodo (Jokowi) will reshuffle the cabinet again recently emerged. Jokowi also answered this wild issue.
“Where did you hear it from?” said Jokowi when confirmed by journalists about the news of the reshuffle after the Berbatik Palace event, Jakarta, Sunday (1/10/2023).
Jokowi did not answer clearly regarding the news of the reshuffle.
He also responded to journalists’ questions about the wild issue of carrying out another cabinet reshuffle.
As is known, Jokowi last reshuffled his cabinet last July. At that time, the position of Minister of Communication and Information shifted to Budi Arie replacing Johhny G Plate who was a suspect in corruption in the BTS Bakti project.
The inauguration of Budi Arie as the new Minister of Communication and Information coincided with the inauguration of five new deputy ministers in the Advanced Indonesia cabinet and other state officials.
The inauguration was attended by a number of state officials, including Chairman of the Supreme Court Muhammad Syarifuddin, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, KSP Moeldoko, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi, Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, to the Chairman of Wantimpres Wiranto.
List of 5 Deputy Ministers Appointed by Jokowi
Apart from the inauguration of the Minister of Communication and Information, Jokowi also appointed five deputy ministers (Wamen). The following are the names of the deputy ministers appointed by Jokowi today:
1. Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Nezar Patria
2. Deputy Minister of Village Paiman Raharjo
3. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansury
4. Deputy Minister of BUMN Rosan Roeslani
5. Deputy Minister of Religion Saiful Rahmat Dasuki
Apart from the deputy minister, Jokowi also appointed two members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres). The two Wantimpres are Djan Faridz and Gandi Sulistiyanto.
