The president also assured that what happened this year should be the basis for overcoming problems such as domestic abuse, violence in the different regions of the country and that in this way “lay the foundations to overcome poverty in Colombia.
Likewise, he stressed that the world is full of wars, but that the problems have been overcome and 2024 will be better.
“Wars have grown in the world, there in the same place of the manger bombs fall. We have to fight for peace, peace in the world, peace in Colombia, peace in our hearts, peace in homes, peace so that boys and girls can be born, grow, and live happily. Undoubtedly, we have overcome problems and the year 2024 will be better. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” she added.
For her part, the first lady, Verónica Alcocer, also sent a message in which she highlighted that “we have to see our neighbors with love and charity.
