President Erdogan’s Intensive Efforts for Peace in Ukraine and Palestinian Lands

“The conversation touched upon the issue of regional and global problems, specifically the Ukraine-Russia war. President Erdogan emphasized Turkey’s intensive efforts to achieve an end to bloodshed and a stable peace both in Ukraine and in the Palestinian lands,” Erdogan’s administration said on the “X” platform.

“President Erdogan announced that Turkey is ready to play the role of a mediator and hold peace talks to achieve peace in Ukraine,” said a post on the social network.

The Turkish leader also stated that it is important to restore the grain corridor and also indicated that he is continuing diplomatic contacts for this purpose.

Erdogan added that it is “necessary to immediately announce a ceasefire and prepare the way for peace in Ukraine.”
