New report presented by Al-Youm Al-Sabea TV, prepared by Hadeel Al-Banna and presented by Ahmed Al-Jaafari, on the announcement of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, on the directive of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to change the age requirement in competitions for teaching assistant posts at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to 40 instead of 35, and to change the requirement of obtaining a good grade at least for admission to the competition to obtain an acceptable grade.
The President of the Council of Ministers has ordered that the results of the competitions be announced on the government job portal website and delivered to the ministries, so that today the results of the competition for imams are announced, and tomorrow the result of the competition for assistants class and a supplementary competition will be announced for a support teacher in kindergarten.
The President of the Council of Ministers affirmed his full support for the mechanism of central competitions in the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, which provides for the possibility of electronically testing more than 1,500 candidates per day, while ensuring that candidates most qualified are selected for public works, and provide the principles of transparency, integrity and justice in the selection process.
Regarding the competition for class teachers, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh explained that the agency opened its doors for applications for the competition from July 2 to 24 last year, on the Government Job Portal website, and 89,394 candidates have applied for the competition to fill 14,813 jobs.
As regards the supplementary competition for kindergarten, the agency has opened its doors to applications for the competition to fill 3197 teaching assistant positions (preschool) from 14 October to 10 November, in 14 governorates, of which 6 governorships, but the number of applicants has not reached the number of jobs required…
Regarding the competition for imams, preachers and teachers in the Ministry of Awqaf, the head of the agency indicated that the competition for imams was announced 15 days before the doors opened to apply for the competition so that those who wish to apply can prepare the required documents, and the door to apply for the competition was opened in the period 15 February to 2 March 2022, and the door for “online” application was opened on the Government Job Portal website, and the number of candidates for the position of imam, preacher and teacher has reached 15,988 candidates.
