President Andrzej Duda was sued “for insulting the citizens of his own country.” The District Court in Warsaw set the date of the first hearing for October 24, 2025 at 10:00, i.e. after the presidential elections.
As the Center for Monitoring Racist and Xenophobic Behavior, which is the author of the lawsuit, explained on the website X, it concerns Andrzej Duda’s words in which he called Poles pigs.
Last year, on TVP Info, the President, assessing Agnieszka Holland’s film “The Green Border”, said that he was not surprised that Border Guard officers who saw the film used the slogan “only pigs sit in the cinema”.
The case will be held remotely.
