“President Director of Bank Neo Commerce Tbk Resigns: Company Plans to Discuss at GMS in June 2023”

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The President Director of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk, Tjandra Gunawan, submitted an application for resignation from his position. This was revealed in company documents uploaded to the information disclosure page of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The document stated that Tjandra had tendered his resignation from the position of Managing Director of Bank Neo Commerce on April 28, 2023. The reason for Tjandra’s resignation from the position of managing director of the company was not stated.

“On April 28, 2023, the Company has received a request for resignation from Mr. Tjandra Gunawan from his position as the Company’s President Director,” management wrote, quoted on Wednesday (3/5/2023).

The management of the digital bank stated that Tjandra’s resignation had no impact on the company’s business and financial activities. The bank with the issuer code BBYB also plans to discuss Tjandra’s resignation at the upcoming General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).

“And seek approval from shareholders for the resignation of Mr Tjandra Gunawan in June 2023,” management wrote.

For information, Tjandra has served as the Main Director of Bank Neo Commerce since April 2020. He is one of the figures behind the transformation of Bank Yudha Bhakti into a Neo Commerce Bank.

Prior to taking over at Bank Neo Commerce, Tjandra has often held a number of strategic positions in various financial industry companies.

He had a career for 11 years at RBS Markets and International Banking, then he also worked for 3 years at Bank QNB Indonesia as SVP.
