US President Joe Biden’s aides have found even more classified documents. Already on Monday it was announced that secret documents belonging to Biden had been found in his private office in Washington in November.
According to US media, the new batch of documents was found in a different location. But it is not known where it was. It is also not yet clear what size the find is.
Earlier this week it would cover a dozen documents, dating back to Biden’s time as vice president. The Ministry of Justice has opened an investigation into the matter.
The discovery of the documents is a sensitive subject in the United States. Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, is in legal trouble because he took home more than 300 secret documents after his resignation. Even Biden himself has been critical of this.
