President Biden Struggles to Retain Traditional Support as Arab and Immigrant Voters Turn Away

U.S. President Joe Biden, who is running for re-election, is struggling with signs of a departure from traditional supporters such as Arabs, a rapidly increasing number of immigrants from Central and South America, and the aftermath of two wars.

According to CNBC broadcast on December 30 last year, Muslim leaders in the United States announced that they would carry out a campaign across the United States to defeat President Biden, who only sides with Israel, following the outbreak of war between Israel and the Palestinian armed group Hamas. There are 3.45 million Arab Americans, or about 1% of the total U.S. population. In the 2020 presidential election, approximately 59% of Muslim voters have a strong tendency to support the ruling Democratic Party, supporting President Biden. Even within the Washington Post (WP), a leading daily newspaper that publicly supported candidate Biden in the presidential election four years ago, there were voices criticizing his re-election bid.
