CNN reports citing a statement from the US White House. After talking on the phone, One of the American hostages was a 3-year-old child. The child’s parents were killed by Hamas the day the group attacked Israel on October 7.
The statement stated that Both leaders agreed that It is time for Hamas to release all hostages. Mr. Biden thanked the Qatari government and personally thanked Sheikh Tamim for his help in negotiations with Hamas. This caused Hamas to release two American hostages earlier. and asked Qatar to increase its efforts to negotiate with Hamas to release additional hostages.
Mr. Biden reiterated his stance on the establishment of a future Palestinian state. which Israelis and Palestinians Can live together as neighbors with equal security and dignity measures and noted that the Hamas group will make the United States Unable to move forward towards the goal of establishing a Palestinian state in the future. and agreed to increase efforts to promote the vision of peace Stability and progress of the Middle East region
