According to Alvarado, so far Costa Rica has 3 contracts, which are with Covax, AstraZeneca and with Pfizer; the latter being the one that has sent the most doses to the country.
“The vaccine commission continues to dialogue with other pharmaceutical companies, but their commitments are different and they have other circumstances,” said the President.
With this, the Government ensured that the doors to acquire other types of vaccines They are not closed and will continue to negotiate with these through the National Commission of Vaccination and Epidemiology
