The Head of the President’s Cabinet, Marcin Mastalerek, emphasized that President Andrzej Duda was absolutely right when he said that 2020 was the most appropriate moment to start preparations for the construction of the Coalition of Polish Affairs. In this way, he indirectly attacked Law and Justice and pointed out their lack of a parliamentary majority.

Mastalerek commented on this entry: “President Andrzej Duda was right. 2020 was the best time to start preparing the ground for building the Coalition of Polish Affairs. The question is, will there ever be a time for it again?” – he wrote on the website X (formerly Twitter).
In this way, Mastalerek indirectly attacked PiS, which since the elections on October 15 has faced the prospect of not having a majority in the Sejm and losing power.
Since then, PiS politicians have begun to suggest that they could enter into a coalition with the Polish People’s Party. – If PiS had never been established and I was not its member, I would probably consider joining a party such as PSL – said Przemysław Czarnek on Polsat News. “To join PSL, you must obtain a recommendation from two party members. I don’t know a single person who would allow you to do so,” wrote PSL spokesman Miłosz Motyka. “Stop embarrassing yourselves,” he added.

This is not Marcin Mastalerek’s first sarcastic comment towards PiS recently. The head of the president’s office stated a few days ago in an interview for Radio Zet that Jarosław Kaczyński should retire.
