President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, revealed the reason for taking the decision to liberalize the exchange rate in the current period specifically.

We’ll all sit on the face of the world and walk. If you collect your money from what is lawful, it will benefit you, and if you collect anything else, it will still be a fire for you. The president concluded: People did not talk about prohibiting any of these behaviors, taking into account that matters in countries are governed by regulations and laws, but until this point some people are absent and they do not know what is permissible and what is forbidden to do.
