The village of Muhammad Suleiman Al Habsi in the Khatt area of ​​Ras Al Khaimah is one of the evidences of the history of the Habus who lived in the embrace of those majestic mountains, and the people of the region are still proud of their ability to coexist with mountain life, as they had and still have goals there, despite the end of their relationship with them for residence.

Muhammad Suleiman Al-Habsi began collecting everything belonging to the Habous culture since the beginning of the eighties of the last century, because he felt the value of every piece that its owners abandoned, either out of love for who would get it, or because its owners wanted to get something new in the market.

Al Habsi obtained a collection of collectibles from his family, and then began searching and asking questions in the region and outside the region, until he had a lot of things that could become permanently present for the future. In 1991, he decided to create a heritage village, to remain a symbol of the life of the people of the mountain, especially the Habous, and the place became frequented, because it revives beautiful memories, and from those pieces emanate the scents of the past, which is still present in the place, and he is keen to accept any He asked to visit his village to explain to the generations about each piece, especially since there is also an exchange of visits by those responsible for documenting heritage, such as (UNESCO), for information, as well as owners of personal museums, and others who love preserving the past for the present.

Muhammad Suleiman owns a maser-type rifle, which belongs to his grandfather, and is estimated to be approximately two hundred years old. He is in the process of presenting it to an antiquities and heritage evaluation committee. He also owns a sword bearing the seal of Saladin al-Ayyubi, but he is not sure of the seal until after it is presented to experts. .

Al Habsi also keeps a metal box (sahara) that belonged to his mother. The people of the Emirates knew such boxes before the 1930s. Its mission for any family is to prepare the daughter for marriage, where it is included in the gift or bride’s supplies. Clothes and other decorative materials are not placed except In it, after the wooden box (Surti) was dispensed with, Al Habsi also kept one of the old radios next to the metal box.
