The preservation of vaccines is fully guaranteed, since the necessary sanitary and administrative measures are in place for their protection, reported the National Center for the Supply of Strategic Health Resources (Cenares).
It was in relation to the statements of an official of the company Aldem SAC, provider of the storage service, released in a media outlet, regarding the fact that the vaccines would be put at risk in the face of an imminent power outage due to non-payment
Through a statement, Cenares states that it has adopted the corresponding administrative actions to solve the impasse that arose with the aforementioned company.
He explained that the new management of Cenares received a warehouse rental service contract for refrigerated products signed with the aforementioned company, despite the fact that it had two disqualification sanctions to contract with the State imposed by the State Contracting Supervisory Body (OSCE), according to Resolution No. 1128-2022-TCE/S4 of 04.20.2022 and Resolution No. 03495-2022-TCE/S2 of 10.13.2022.
Currently, the company demands the change of the initial contractual conditions, facing this, Cenares prioritizes the good use of public resources.
Cenares points out that he has summoned the representatives of the company for a satisfactory solution for the parties, prioritizing public health in Peru above all.
“Cenares works to guarantee the timely, efficient and quality provision of vaccines and other strategic health products for the protection of the health of all Peruvians,” the statement concluded.
