In the oil company they indicate that the meeting could also count on the presence of the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa. On the occasion of the so-called “YPF Day”, the company’s authorities will present the results of the fourth quarter of 2022 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The YPF share is going through a strong recovery in that market, ending the last week at US$11.93 in the midst of an upward raid that began in the middle of last year, after reaching a floor of US$2.91.

At the event next Friday they will also present the Five-Year Plan for the period 2023-2027.

As part of the company’s projects, the planned investments in infrastructure works aimed at taking advantage of the export market for the resources of the unconventional formation of Vaca Muerta stand out.

In this sense, two of the company’s main objectives for the five-year period will be the construction of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production plant in partnership with Malaysia’s Petronas, which will require the construction of a new gas pipeline from Vaca Muerta, with an initial investment of US$10 billion.

The company also anticipated the so-called Vaca Muerta Sur Pipeline, its own project that will open to the participation of other companies, which provides for the construction of a 700-kilometer pipeline to the coast of Río Negro, together with a port mega-terminal.

In the last presentation of results corresponding to the third quarter of 2022, YPF reported that it reached an adjusted EBITDA of US$1,500 million, with investments of almost US$2,900 million, 60% higher than those of the same period of 2021.

For its part, the total production of hydrocarbons accumulated to last September totaled 505 thousand barrels of equivalent per day, with an increase of 9% year-on-year, in which crude oil grew 7% and gas 9%.
