The changes will be presented at 11 a.m. According to what Aftenposten has learned, more than one change will be made in the city council.
The case is updated.
City council leader Raymond Johansen (Ap) is making changes to Oslo City Council. It was announced in a press release on Thursday morning.
The leader of the city council has called a press conference at 11 o’clock. Johansen and the incoming city councilors will be present there.
According to Aftenposten’s knowledge, one of the changes the city council is now implementing is that health councilor Robert Steen (Ap) will be replaced and Marthe Scharning Lund (Ap) will join the city council.
There has recently been a storm around health councilor Robert Steen (Ap) after a number of media stories about Oslo’s health center. At the end of February, he had to answer for the state of Oslo’s health center in a hearing in Oslo City Council. The opposition was not satisfied after the hearing.
Lund has previously been chief of staff at the city council leader’s office and city council for business and ownership in Oslo.
According to Aftenposten’s knowledge, more than one change is being made in the city council. Raymond Johansen himself continues as city council leader.
Aftenposten also gets confirmation that the changes do not apply to MDG or SV’s city councils.
